Original Production Run (1950‑1969)

The Plus 4 was produced from 1950 until 1969, featuring a Z‑section steel ladder chassis combined with a wood‑framed aluminium and steel body and an all‑iron 2138 cc four‑cylinder engine.

Limited Production in the Late 1960s

Between 1965 and 1969 only 42 Plus 4s were built, making those late‑model examples particularly rare among collectors.

The Competition Variant

A special Competition model offered a low‑line body, a Derrington exhaust manifold, a Derrington competition steering wheel, and a distinctive 72‑spoke wheel design.
